<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Ring is seeking an AI-native Product Builder to join our team to define and develop new hardware devices and integrated experiences that help make neighborhoods safer. This role combines technical product management with hands-on prototyping. You will define new device and feature concepts, validate them through data analysis and rapid prototypes, and drive them from idea to launch. You'll work across hardware engineering, software engineering, industrial design, and business teams.<br><br>You'll leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate exploration, analysis, and stakeholder alignment to move faster from insight to conviction. The ideal candidate is AI-first, analytically driven, and thrives in fast-paced collaborative environments while demonstrating technical leadership and attention to detail across both hardware and software domains.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Explore and validate new product concepts through rapid prototyping with AI-coding tools (e.g., Cursor) and automated analysis of internal data, marketplace, and competitive research.</li><li> Define hardware product requirements and in-app device experiences for new devices, collaborating with hardware engineering, industrial design, software engineering, and manufacturing teams.</li><li> Drive engineering delivery of new features across app, cloud, and device firmware, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate development timelines.</li><li> Manage prioritization and trade-offs across customer experience, cost, performance, profitability, and operational support load, resolving strategic and tactical blockers as they arise.</li><li> Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive cross-functional workflows using AI and agentic tools.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree</li><li> 5+ years of technical product or program management experience</li><li> Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product</li><li> Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition</li><li> Experience with end to end product delivery</li><li> Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product</li><li> Experience with consumer devices spanning hardware, firmware, mobile, and cloud</li><li> Experience with hardware product definition, including collaboration with industrial design, hardware engineering, or manufacturing teams</li><li> Experience defining and launching consumer-facing products and applications</li><li> Hands-on experience building functional prototypes using AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Replit) to validate product concepts<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience defining and launching consumer-facing products powered by GenAI capabilities such as LLM integrations</li><li> Understanding of GenAI technologies including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic systems</li><li> Experience with AI-first product development workflows and driving adoption of AI tools across product and engineering teams<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
