Graphic Designer for Premium Direct Mail, Social Media Templates & Marketing Collateral

Other Jobs To Apply

PeaceOut is a Boston-based home caretaking service designed for homeowners who spend time away from their primary residence. Our professional caretakers conduct regularly scheduled visits to clients’ homes, complete customized property checks, and provide photos, notes, and updates through the PeaceOut mobile app.

Our target clients are discerning homeowners who value trust, reliability, professionalism, and a high level of service. Our brand is positioned as premium, modern, approachable, and sophisticated.

What We Need

We are initially looking for help with three areas:

1. Premium Direct-Mail Campaign

We are planning a highly targeted direct-mail campaign to prospective clients in affluent Boston neighborhoods.

We do not want the materials to look like traditional advertising or mass-market direct mail. Our goal is for the package to feel more like private correspondence from a luxury hospitality company, high-end real estate firm, private bank, or premium concierge service.

We envision a mailer that may include:

Premium outer envelope design that will entice someone to open it

Personalized introductory letter / letterhead

5" × 7" or similarly sized marketing insert

Strong but understated call to action

QR code and website/phone contact information

We will handle printing and mailing ourselves, so we need the designer to provide fully print-ready files with appropriate bleed, crop marks, color settings, etc., as well as editable source files. We would like the designer to help refine the concept and recommend layouts, paper/print treatments, dimensions, and other details that will make the finished piece feel distinctive and premium.

2. Social Media Templates

We would also like a reusable collection of branded social media templates for PeaceOut.

These will be used across:

Instagram

Facebook

LinkedIn

Potential templates could include:

Company/service introduction

How PeaceOut works

Service feature posts

Home caretaking tips

Client education

Photo-based posts

Testimonials

App/technology features

Quotes or simple brand messages

Announcements

Our goal is to create a flexible visual system rather than a series of unrelated individual posts. Ideally, the templates would be easily editable by our team in Canva.

Brand Direction

PeaceOut already has an established brand identity, including our logo, photography, colors, typography, website, and mobile app. We will provide these materials to the selected designer.

Our visual direction is:

Sophisticated

Modern

Warm

Trustworthy

Calm

Premium

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
