Position Summary:

The Design Strategist is a key addition to our Omni-Channel Strategy team — an experienced visual designer with a strong grounding in behavioral science and digital marketing who is genuinely curious about how the broader business operates. Partnering closely with the Head of Omni-Channel Strategy, the MarTech Manager, and other senior stakeholders, this person will conceive and design end-to-end, digital-first experiences that guide homeowners through our clients’ customer journeys — from landing pages and drip emails to social creative and TV spots. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller who storyboards a concept before building it, is native in front-end web and mobile development, and turns testing results into iterative design improvements. If you’re a strategic thinker who loves connecting the dots between craft and business impact, this role was built for you.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with the Head of Omni-Channel Strategy, the MarTech Manager, and other senior stakeholders to strategize and scope new Omni-Channel campaigns end-to-end.
  1. Design new landing pages and the full suite of digital campaign assets — drip emails, display ads, social creative, and TV spots — that guide homeowners through the customer journey.
  1. Storyboard and conceptualize each campaign’s creative narrative before building final assets, keeping the story coherent across every touchpoint.
  1. Apply behavioral science principles and digital marketing best practices to design experiences that engage and convert.
  1. Build responsive, mobile-first front-end web and landing page experiences, with working knowledge of the back-end systems they connect to.
  1. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Creative Services, and MarTech — turning testing results and business insight into iterative design improvements.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in digital design and design strategy, with a strong portfolio spanning digital and social display advertising.
  • Working understanding of behavioral science principles as applied to marketing and conversion-focused design.
  • Strong storytelling and storyboarding skills — able to conceptualize a campaign narrative before producing assets.
  • Native-level skill in front-end digital and mobile web development, with a solid working knowledge of back-end fundamentals.
  • Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative and strategic decisions to senior stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Past experience partnering with lead-generation teams.
  • Portfolio that includes TV advertising work alongside digital and social.
  • Digital drawing/sketching and frame-by-frame animation skills.
  • B2C experience.
  • Instapage design experience.
  • AI-curious — open to augmenting productivity and creativity with Claude and other AI tools.
