Position: Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager

Work Arrangement: Remote

Type: Part-Time / Contract

Hours: 5–10 hours per week, with room to grow

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and creative Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager to provide administrative support and help manage our online presence.

This role will begin at approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours and responsibilities as we grow. We're looking for someone who would be interested in growing with us long-term.

The right person is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to keep things moving without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

Virtual Assistant Support

Manage calendars, appointments, reminders, and scheduling

Organize Google Drive folders, documents, spreadsheets, and internal files

Conduct research and data entry as needed

Create and maintain trackers, task lists, and project documents

Assist with client and customer follow-ups

Help keep projects organized and deadlines on track

Provide general administrative support as needed

Social Media Management

Schedule and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms

Maintain and update the social media content calendar

Write and edit captions based on established brand voice

Create simple, polished graphics and content in Canva

Repurpose existing content for different social platforms

Organize photos, videos, graphics, and other content assets

Research content ideas, trends, and relevant topics

Assist with community engagement, including comments and messages

Track basic social media performance and identify what's working

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager, or similar role

Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

Strong written communication skills

Comfortable using Canva and major social media platforms

Experience with Google Workspace

Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently

Proactive and resourceful—you don't always wait to be told what to do next

Comfortable learning new tools and processes

Interested in growing into a larger role over time

Experience with Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Later, Buffer, Planable, Mailchimp, or similar tools is a plus.

Hours & Growth

This position will start at 5–10 hours per week. As the business grows and we develop a strong working relationship, there will be opportunities to take on additional hours, projects, and responsibilities.

We're especially interested in finding someone who wants to become a trusted, long-term part of the team rather than simply completing individual tasks.
