We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Trade Compliance for our Imaging division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all trade regulations and laws while supporting our global business operations. As the Director of Trade Compliance, you will lead the development and implementation of trade compliance programs and provide guidance to our team of trade compliance professionals. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of trade regulations and a proven track record of implementing successful compliance programs. Develop and implement trade compliance programs to ensure compliance with all relevant trade laws and regulations. Monitor and analyze changes in trade laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Provide guidance and support to the trade compliance team in all matters related to trade compliance. Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure trade compliance is integrated into all business processes. Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for all trade compliance matters and liaise with government agencies as needed. Stay up-to-date on international trade trends and developments to inform company strategy and decision-making. Develop and deliver training programs on trade compliance for employees at all levels of the organization. Monitor and analyze potential risks associated with international trade and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade compliance activities. Act as a subject matter expert on trade compliance matters and provide guidance to other departments within the company. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as customs brokers and freight forwarders, to ensure smooth and compliant trade operations. Collaborate with legal and finance departments on trade compliance matters, such as import/export documentation and licensing. Proactively identify areas for improvement in trade compliance processes and procedures and implement necessary changes.
