POSITION OVERVIEW

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations across both fulfillment and inventory control based on business needs. This role performs picking, packing, staging, shipping, receiving, replenishment, cycle counting, inventory movement, and related warehouse tasks while using warehouse systems and handheld devices to maintain accuracy. Associates are expected to flex between functions as priorities change, work with a sense of urgency, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

This is a seasonal, flexible second-shift position with the hours generally falling between 2:00p.m and 10:00p.m. Employees will work less than or up to 40 hours per week, based on business needs and scheduling requirements. The anticipated duration of the seasonal position and specific shift schedule will be communicated during the hiring process.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Accurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment while following established fulfillment workflows, quality standards, and system-directed processes.
  • Perform system-directed and ad-hoc cycle counts, stock checks, and location audits to support accurate physical and system inventory.
  • Restock and replenish inventory using directed and non-directed processes, verifying SKU, quantity, labeling, and storage location while safely using carts, pallet jacks, ladders, or other approved equipment.
  • Support inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies in product quantities or locations, assisting with product transfers, and verifying that inventory is properly labeled with required size labels and barcodes.
  • Cross-train across fulfillment and inventory control functions and flex between assignments as warehouse priorities, order volume, replenishment needs, and inventory activity fluctuate.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment by following company policies and OSHA standards, completing standard housekeeping, and using equipment appropriately.
  • Properly use and complete routine inspections of approved warehouse equipment, promptly reporting any equipment damage, safety concerns, or operational issues to leadership.
  • Support additional warehouse functions as assigned based on changing operational needs and business priorities.

Required Minimum Qualifications/Job Knowledge:
  • Certifications/Licenses Required: N/A
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse work throughout the shift
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing short stairs for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain accuracy, and remain flexible as warehouse priorities change
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team across fulfillment and inventory control functions
  • Must be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including hot or cold conditions
  • Forklift or reach-truck experience is a plus; associates will receive required in-house safety and equipment training before operating applicable equipment
  • Safety shoes (steel-toe or composite-toe) are required in the warehouse.
