Vector Marketing is currently running interviews for part time sales reps. Our sales representatives sell Cutco to customers on a low-key, one on one appointments. We offer a minimum base pay so our reps don’t feel pressured to make a sale - instead we ask them to focus on providing excellent customer service. We believe the quality of the product speaks for itself. Apply now and interview within the week!

What we offer:
Paid weekly - We offer guaranteed base pay that is not tied to sales, allowing reps to focus on providing excellent customer service rather than feeling pressured to make a sale. We also offer a performance-based commission structure that increases based on career sales performance — not length of service or annual resets. Representatives are paid a base ($35.00 base-appt) or commission, whichever is higher that week. Even during slower weeks, reps are still paid for every qualified appointment they complete, regardless of sales results.

Solid training – We teach our reps how to do well in this role before they start and offer continued support and additional training as time goes on.Since most reps start with little to no experience, they like the fact they start with people they know and build referrals with people they trust.

Product - We sell Cutco products that are used in the kitchen and some gardening tools as well. Previous knowledge about our products or sales experience aren’t needed.

Flexible scheduling – Reps can set their own weekly schedule around holiday plans, internships, classes, finals, their full time jobs, or family commitments.

Location – Sales reps work locally after training, meetings and training are held in the office.

Advancement – Reps who work here long term (even if they work part time) have an opportunity to move along several different paths including management and career sales professional.

What we require:
Enjoy working with people
All ages eighteen plus or seventeen and a high school graduate
Conditions apply
Willing to learn and apply new skills
Able to interview in the next 5 to 7 days

What makes a good candidate:
People who have done well with us in the past have had experience in admin, retail, fast food, cashier, administrative assistant, receptionist, office work, server, landscaping, and in just about any field you can imagine. Some didn’t have any traditional work experience at all, but they excelled in activities like theater, sports, or band. We welcome all applicants who have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.

This entry level sales position is a great fit for people who are looking to work around their busy schedule. If you are looking for part time work or just someone who is looking for a flexible schedule, our opportunities can work around your needs.

If you think you would be a great fit for our sales team, fill out your contact information and a receptionist will send you a text about setting up a virtual interview with a manager. We encourage applicants of all ages and experience, as we do not discriminate on the basis of an applicant’s age.

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
