About Us

Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. We bring that vision to life through our values and culture. Learn more about Target here.

Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. We operate with the ethos of trust and transparency and that media works best when it works in everyone’s best interest. At the very root of that, Roundel is here to drive business growth for our clients, and redefine “value” in the industry by solving core industry challenges vs. copy current industry methods of operation.

We are here to drive a key growth initiative for Target and to lead the industry to a better way of operating within the media marketplace.

As Director, Agency Development, Partner Solutions, Roundel, you will lead a talented team responsible for building and expanding Roundel’s relationships with the agency community. You will translate Roundel’s overarching agency strategy into actionable engagement and activation plans that strengthen agency partnerships, unlock new opportunities and drive profitable revenue growth.

In this role, you will establish and grow strategic relationships with senior agency leaders and key decision makers, ensuring Roundel is positioned as a critical media and business partner across the agency ecosystem. You will develop strategies that deepen agency understanding of Roundel’s capabilities, create scalable opportunities across clients and categories, and connect agency priorities to Roundel solutions. You will work closely with Partner Solutions category leadership and cross-functional partners including Product Specialists, Client Management, Merchandising, Product Marketing Integration, Media Ad Ops & Reporting, Target in India, Brand, Creative partners and other Target teams to identify opportunities and deliver effective solutions for our agency and advertising partners.

You will apply your proven success building relationships, developing teams and navigating the evolving digital media and agency landscape to play a critical role in driving Roundel’s continued growth.

  • Develop agency-specific growth plans that identify opportunities to increase adoption of Roundel solutions and unlock incremental revenue across clients and categories.
  • Build scalable engagement models, programs and narratives that increase agency awareness, understanding and advocacy for Roundel’s capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Category Partner Solutions leaders and teams to identify agency-led opportunities, remove barriers and accelerate revenue growth across advertiser portfolios.
  • Develop strategies to ensure a healthy pipeline of agency-driven opportunities and hold the team accountable for meeting or exceeding financial and operational expectations.
  • Set priorities at the team and individual level while actively coaching, developing and managing individual performance.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to agencies, bringing forward insights, capabilities and solutions that address agency and advertiser business needs.
  • Work cross-functionally across Roundel and Target to align agency priorities with broader business, product and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify emerging agency trends, operating-model changes and marketplace opportunities and translate those insights into actionable strategies for Roundel.
  • Inspire and lead your team by setting clear direction and accountability for activity that drives revenue, strong agency partnerships and customer value.

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
