Job Description:

  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-person interactions across rare cardiac accounts
  • Build compliant relationships with cardiology healthcare providers, multidisciplinary care teams, and office staff across assigned accounts
  • Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate Rare Cardiac product use
  • Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support patient finding and referral pathways
  • Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance Rare Cardiac business objectives
  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize Rare Cardiac territory activities
  • Partner with Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders to execute promotional strategies and support appropriate access
  • Travel throughout the assigned Nashville, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, and Jackson territory, including overnight stays when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing; or aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • Ability to reside within a workable distance of all points of business within the assigned territory
  • Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territory
  • Ability to stay overnight as necessary depending on territory size and business need
  • Preferred: 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in Cardiology or Hospital
  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking
  • Strong digital engagement capability, such as Veeva Engage and Zoom
