Warehousing Specialist will diligently audit shipping documentation for accuracy and verify quantity for each order.<br><br><strong>Essential Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Process domestic and international shipments by accurately packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment. </li><li> Verify shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and carrier requirements, to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. </li><li> Coordinate shipments through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and freight providers, while maintaining shipment records in the ERP system. </li><li> Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. </li><li> Visually inspect and count materials to verify quality, quantity, and transaction accuracy before shipment or storage. </li><li> Serve as a backup for receiving operations by receiving inbound materials, verifying documentation, inspecting shipments, and processing receipts in the ERP system. </li><li> Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to company safety procedures. </li><li> Cross-train and provide support to other warehouse and operations functions as business needs require. </li><li> Support overtime, extended hours, and occasional Saturday work to meet customer and operational requirements. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Position Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience, with a strong emphasis on shipping operations. </li><li> High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li> Experience preparing shipments through parcel and freight carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers. </li><li> Working knowledge of ERP systems with experience performing shipping, receiving, inventory, and material transaction activities. </li><li> Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. </li><li> Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred. </li><li> Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, and packing slips, </li><li> Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li> Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. </li><li> Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and accurately follow verbal and written instructions. </li><li> Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely up to 35 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Safety is a core value at ITT.
