Squarespace Growth Sprint

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

We are an established career college with approximately 30 years of operating history. Our current website is built on Squarespace and needs a focused, fast update to improve credibility, organic search visibility, and qualified lead generation.

This is NOT a full website rebuild, platform migration, or branding project. We need a practical Squarespace specialist who can improve the existing website quickly and cost-effectively.

PROJECT GOAL

Improve our website’s ability to:

- Attract more relevant organic search traffic

- Generate more prospective-student inquiries

- Make it easier for visitors to request information, schedule a tour, speak with admissions, or start an application

- Present our programs, admissions process, and career outcomes clearly and professionally

- Improve the experience on mobile devices

SCOPE OF WORK

Please review our existing Squarespace site and recommend the highest-impact updates. The initial project will likely include:

- Refreshing the homepage and approximately 4–6 key pages, such as program pages, admissions, tuition/financial aid, contact, or request-information pages

- Improving page structure, messaging, calls-to-action, and mobile usability

- Adding or improving strong conversion paths, including “Request Information,” “Schedule a Tour,” “Speak With Admissions,” or similar calls-to-action

- Optimizing Squarespace SEO basics, including page titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 headings, image alt text, internal linking, and clean page URLs where appropriate

- Reviewing site navigation and visitor flow to reduce friction for prospective students

- Improving or creating FAQ content based on likely student and parent questions

- Ensuring forms, click-to-call links, and inquiry paths work properly

- Reviewing Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and sitemap setup if access is available

- Providing a short written change log of what was updated and why

- Including one reasonable revision round after review

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

- You must have hands-on Squarespace experience, including editing an existing site rather than only building from templates.

- You must understand practical on-page SEO and conversion optimization.

- Experience with education, career training, local service businesses, or lead-generation websites is preferred.

- You must be comfortable working within the existing Squarespace platform and preserving current pages, content, forms, tracking, and rankings where possible.

- You must not make unsupported claims or promise specific Google rankings.

- The site must remain professional, accurate, accessible, and mobile-friendly.

TIMELINE

We need a fast turnaround. Please propose a realistic plan to complete the initial phase within 7–14 calendar days from receipt of access and content approvals.

BUDGET

This is a fixed-price project. Our target budget for the initial sprint is $750–$1,200, depending on demonstrated Squarespace experience, the quality of your proposed plan, and the exact deliverables.

Please do not submit a generic proposal. We are looking for a freelancer who can identify the highest-leverage improvements before recommending a larger project.

TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE

1. Two examples of Squarespace websites you personally updated or improved.

2. A brief explanation of what you would review first on an existing Squarespace site to improve organic traffic and leads.

3. A proposed fixed price and delivery timeline.

4. A list of the exact deliverables included in your price.

5. Confirmation that you can work in Squarespace, preserve existing URLs and forms where possible, and provide a documented change log.

6. Your answer to this question: “What are the three highest-impact changes you would make first to help a career college generate more qualified inquiries?”

We will prioritize applicants who give specific, practical recommendations and demonstrate relevant Squarespace, SEO, and conversion experience.
