Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.
  • Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with medical regulations.
  • Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Process patient registrations and verify insurance information as needed.
  • Handle medical collections and billing inquiries with professionalism.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with medical administrative support functions, including coding and medical collections.
  • Proficient in using computerized systems for scheduling and record management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.
