It is an incredibly physical, fast paced job, delivering 200packages daily, in any weather condition:hot sun or hurricane-like thunderstorms. You are the primary person who will define how far you will grow with our company.Qualifications for a Delivery Driver:Physically fit candidates must be (at least) 21 years of ageA valid driver's license in good standing (CDL not req'd)Comfortable driving a cargo van or larger and able to lift (up to) 50lb. packages.Must have good communication and customer service skillsExperience in delivery driving not necessary, but beneficialConsent to drug test screeningEligible to work in the USResponsibilities of a Delivery Driver:Load van with containers / packages at start of shiftConduct a thorough pre- and post- vehicle inspectionDeliver products to customers in a timely mannerOn the road (OTR) up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes within a 50 mile radiusHandle physical work eg. climb in/out van, use of stairs, lift containers w/o issuePerform responsibilities during inclement weather conditionsMaintain van and fuel up vehicle at EOSReturn and document accordingly any undeliverable packagesBe competent and efficient on GPS device and be able to troubleshoot delivery issuesBe open to assisting in other capacities, as neededFollow designated safety protocol and proceduresWilling to assist co-workers in a supportive wayWe provide new branded vans and uniforms, GPS devices, all the tools and technology to make your position safe and a success, and continued support and driver safety monitoring for all employees!
