<div>Payroll Title:<br/> PAT RCDS ABSTRACTOR 3 Department:<br/> FACULTY PRACTICE REVENUE CYCLE Hiring Pay Scale<br/> $37.44 - $49.38 / Hour Worksite:<br/> Remote Appointment Type:<br/> Career Appointment Percent:<br/> 100% Union:<br/> EX Contract Total Openings:<br/> 1 Work Schedule:<br/> Days, 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday <br/><br/><b>#141254 Coder III - Anesthesia - Remote</b><br/><strong>Filing Deadline: Tue 9/29/2026</strong> <br/> Apply Now <br/> <br/><strong>Candidates hired into this position may have the ability to work remotely.</strong><br/><br/><b>DESCRIPTION</b><br/><br/>Under general supervision, the coder performs in-depth complex daily CPT, HCPC and ICD10 coding of inpatient, outpatient and clinical charge documents received from physicians for Anesthesiology , Pain Management and Critical Care procedures.<br/><br/>The coder is responsible to accurately interpret notes/diagnoses and to convert them into CPT/HCPC/ICD10 codes as appropriate in order to fully capture all billable services.<br/><br/><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b><ul><li>Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).</li><li>Must have three (3) years of coding experience (Anesthesia coding).</li><li>Strong skills in CPT, ICD-10-CM, & HCPCS professional coding applications.</li></ul><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><ul><li>Anesthesia, Pain Management and Critical Care Coding experience.</li><li>Toxicology / Wound Care experience.</li><li>CANPC certification.</li><li>Experience with Epic.</li></ul><b>SPECIAL CONDITIONS</b><ul><li>Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.</li><li>Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.</li></ul> Pay Transparency Act <br/><br/>Annual Full Pay Range: $78,175 - $103,105 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) <br/><br/>Hourly Equivalent: $37.44 - $49.38 <br/><br/>Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
