Working as an Amazon Fulfillment Center Associate in Chicago, IL puts you at the core of Amazon’s logistics network. You will rotate between key departments — receiving inbound product, stowing it in the right locations, picking it when orders come in, packing it, and preparing it for shipment. Each part of the process matters, and you will be trained across all of them so you can step in wherever the facility needs you most.

Amazon’s fulfillment centers are designed for efficiency and safety, and every associate is supported with proper training, ergonomic tools, and a team-based environment.

Key tasks for this role:

  • Receiving and stowing inbound inventory in accurate locations
  • Picking and packing customer orders to shipment-ready standard
  • Scanning items with RF devices to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Working across departments as needs change throughout the shift
  • Maintaining Amazon’s safety and quality standards at every step
