Job Title: Airline Key Account Manager

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world while being responsible for developing and growing sales of 3M products to the assigned airlines. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Lead 3M strategy for engagement with assigned US based airlines
- Implement key account strategy to meet 3M and customer objectives
- Determine growth strategy, sales approach and customer engagement plan
- Supports broad-based business group initiatives
- Having a willingness to travel globally to support Key Accounts
- Partner with Channel, Marketing, Application Engineering, and Sales Leadership to align priorities and improve execution.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years of aerospace industry sales in a private, public, government or military environment
- Three (3) years of experience managing sales directly to airlines
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree at an accredited institution
- Ten (10) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include: Negotiation, Strong Influencing skills, CRM Skills, Proven experience managing cross functional teams, Substantial experience in aerospace sales.
- Strong understanding of long-cycle, specification-driven sales processes
Work location:
Travel: May include up to 50% domestic
Relocation: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
